Starting from two main products of the Piedmontese food and wine tradition, vermouth and cocoa, in 2016 we decided to make a bet and play on the encounter of these two worlds of taste and smell. Our travel companion in this fantastic adventure was Guido Castagna, one of the greatest Italian and international Maître Chocolatier. Furthermore, we have been supported, advised and guided by the experience of our friend Michele Marzella, Bar Manager at Affini.
The result of this unprecedented courtship was released in 2017, with the birth of our ‘L Türinèis, thanks to the addition, in the right amount and according to the right method, of roasted cocoa beans to the mixture of aromatic herbs and spices that we used for our Riserva.
